Hungary, located in Central Europe, is officially known as the Republic of Hungary. Hungary is a member of the World Trade Organization and a full member of OECD. The first international organization that accepted the country as a full member was OECD in 1996. Hungary is also a part of the European Union. When it comes to investment in Hungary, it is easy. However, security-sensitive areas require government licensing. Just as domestic capital, foreign capital also benefits from virtually the same security & rights. Main industries of Hungary include: processed foods, textiles, mining, metallurgy, construction materials, chemicals (especially pharmaceuticals) and motor vehicles. |
